This little interesting device, Ediquette Bell, looks like a door chime mounted to the sidewall inside a toilet cubicle at Icheon Airport. I thought how considerate the Korean to provide such a great service. It must be used for calling for help when the cubicle is running out of toilet paper. Look, how convenient to use it, just simply press the button on the device. The genius that has invented this device is so thoughtful because I am sure some of us have caught ourselves in such awkward situation, feeling so helpless.
My oh my! Little do I know that the device is a toilet flushing melody, a sound of toilet flushing that lasts about 30 seconds to camouflage the sound of unpleasant noises that would cause embarrassment inside the toilet.
So now that I know the device is just a decoy, I have decided to try it. It was not until I tried that I knew to coordinate the sound together with your embarrassment is a skill that one has to master or else you would be like me sitting in there, pressing the button constantly and still missing it. Obviously, the device was not helpful to me, actually it has caused more embarrassment because others might think that I either have terrible stomach or just having fun with it.
